Aren’t you grateful as long as the eye looks and sees and has its eyelashes on top of it and does not need anyone to lift it? A great blessing remains with you. I thank our Lord and give thanks for a bounty that was not without them. On you……….. As long as you lie down tired and your heart is pure and at peace and from your sweat you eat and sleep, I praise our Lord and give thanks for His bounty that cannot be done without it, my eyes are upon you…….. And as long as your tongue calls out, remembers our Lord and guides with a kind word to people, I praise our Lord and thank His bounty that cannot be done without it, my eyes on you…….. ….. And as long as your mind listens and performs the prayer, and rises at dawn and prays and listens to those around you, I praise our Lord and give thanks for His bounty that cannot be done otherwise, O my eyes upon you…….. And as long as your mind thinks and distinguishes the good and remembers and chooses the righteous, why praise our Lord and give thanks for His bounty that cannot be other than Him, my eyes upon you…….
